It is finally happening. The long awaited Intersate reunion. Unfortunately, it is occurring under bad circumstances. Sadly, Bob Sullivan passed away on August 8, 2008. In memeory of Bob we are gathering at the Klamsteam Tavern in Clifton Park, NY. (The Klamsteam!) This is the place where Interstate got its beginning. It only seems right to have the reunion there. The show will be held on Sunday November, 16, from 2pm-6pm. All are welcome. There is no cover charge but donations will be accepted to cover costs. T-shirts and a CD of Interstate originals will be available. Band members performing will be Matt Smith, Jim Dignum, Mike Lomaestro, Jeff Wood, Neal McHugh, Adam Graham and many guests. This can only be a great time. How many of us had our days of rage playing in, listening to or hanging out with Interstate. I just started this page and I will be constantly adding things. Things are heating up. We have all been talking getting things set. Sorry about everyone who heard we were doing this on September 21 and showed up at the Klamsteam. This was a date we picked quickly after we got the news of Bob's death. We were all kind of in shock and reacted quickly. It ended up being too soon because of so many schedules to deal with but the word had already gotten out. It shows how anxious everyone is for the reunion to happen, especially us. It is way over due. We are really looking forward to seeing everyone. Interstate was a huge part of our lives and has left such an impression on our lives and the lives of all us who were such good friends so long ago. Enough of the sap for now. If anyone has pictures of themselves or the band, send them to me and I will post them. I have some pictures I will be putting up soon. Send then to: jim@cranwell.com. More soon.
Mike Stopped out my way and dropped off some pictures. Send me yours, I vow to get them all returned. I will put them up and rearrange things. Any suggestion let me know. Posters are going out this weekend. Pass the word
Ok, we ar less than a week away. We hope everyone can make Sunday. We will be rehearsing this week. Not that we need it. I do not know how many have hit this web site but our counts are way up compare to usual. Advertising should have gone out by now. Pass the word anyway. After the show I will put up what I can as far as pictures. We are also having the show video taped and recorded.

IT HAS HAPPENED AND IT WAS GREAT. Everyone was blown away by the whole thing. Why wouldn't we be. We all grew up together. I was talking to someone by email yesterday and it occurred to me how connected we all were. What a great time in all our lives. I will write more later. I am receiving pictures which I will also put up. We recorded the whole thing audio and video hopefully we can get it together and make a DVD.
